Evidence-Based. Survivor-Led. Impact-Driven
At The Katie Piper Foundation, we measure impact with the same care, compassion and clinical rigour that we bring to every survivor’s recovery.
Our approach is grounded in both evidence and lived experience – because true progress isn’t just about numbers, it’s about real change in real lives.
Our Approach
We evaluate every programme using validated clinical and psychological tools, including CARe, EQ-5D, and the POSAS Observer Scale. We also use personalised goal-setting and survivor feedback to capture what recovery truly looks and feels like.
This helps ensure that our support delivers measurable improvements in physical function, emotional wellbeing and long-term quality of life- so survivors don’t just survive, they move forward with strength, identity and confidence.

What We Deliver
We provided 26 survivors with intensive residential rehabilitation, over 80 hours of LPG scar treatment at our London clinic, and urgent, specialist intervention for 25 people identified as being at substantial risk of suicide with risk significantly reduced for every individual.
Every survivor reported an overall improvement in health and wellbeing, and 76% experienced a decrease in anxiety and depression.
These results demonstrate the powerful impact of our personalised rehabilitation model and the difference our community of supporters makes possible.

More Than Treatment. A Lifeline.
These numbers represent real, transformative change: survivors regaining independence, confidence, and hope; rebuilding their lives after trauma; and finding the courage to move forward when it once felt impossible.
I am eternally grateful to KPF for putting my life back on track after a major accident and giving me unstinted support. I would not have been able to recover so quickly had it not been for all the yoga and LPG and emotional support provided by them.Sangita, Burns Survivor
