Aimee's Story
In August 2020, Aimee's life changed forever when she sustained burns to 58.5% of her body in a devastating fire. After spending months in hospital, she faced a long and challenging rehabilitation journey. Determined to regain her independence, Aimee set herself an ambitious goal: returning to the golf course.
Just ten months after her accident, Aimee returned to competitive golf, achieving something many thought would not be possible. Today, she continues to look towards the future with optimism and determination.

Jamie's Story
Jamie was just 14 years old when he was severely burned in an accident involving an exploding motorbike. The emotional impact of his injuries stayed with him for more than three decades. He avoided situations where his scars might be visible and struggled to speak openly about his experiences.
Through specialist rehabilitation and psychological support, Jamie met other burns survivors and found a community that understood him. His story demonstrates that recovery can begin at any stage and that support can transform lives, even decades after injury.

Sal & Mia's Story
In 2018, Sal suffered devastating chemical burns in a road traffic accident while visiting family in Yemen, when acid spilled from another vehicle. His injuries resulted in significant sight loss and required multiple surgeries, lengthy hospital treatment and a long recovery process. The impact was felt not only by Sal, but also by his wife Mia, who supported him through some of the most difficult moments of his journey.
Their story highlights an important truth: burn injuries affect entire families, and recovery is strongest when loved ones are supported too.
